*Sample swatches are FREE for customers in the US or Canada. For international customers outside the US and Canada, they are only $1.00, just to cover the cost of postage. See instructions at the bottom of the page.

Although we do our best to get as true a color image as possible, the colors can vary due to the imaging process and the difference in monitors. If you are unsure about the color of the backing fabric, please request sample swatches. Keep in mind that samples for Pre-Order fabrics will not be available as we do not have the fabric in stock yet.

In most cases our sample swatches are approximately 3" x 3", except for some of the batiks which will be approximately 3/4" strips of various lengths to show the color variation across the fabric. We found that you could not capture the variation in a 3" x 3" square. Some samples may be a little smaller than 3" x 3" or vary in size.

FOR US AND CANADIAN CUSTOMERS - Samples are FREE! Please email us at samples@backsidefabrics.com with the fabric numbers you would like, your name, and mailing address. We just ask that you please limit your request to a maximum of 10 swatches.

You may also snail mail us swatches of the fabrics you are working with and we will pull samples of fabrics that will coordinate with them. Make sure to send a note with your return address information. Send to:
